Welcome To The Generation Page!

The setup is very easy. You only need to edit the first box, however if you would like to get a custom look you can edit any of the other details. Once you're complete click the generate button and the script will produce the code you need to copy!

Search Query To Use:

The search query is the term that is used to find the tweets to display on your site. If you wish to show tweets from users just type the usernames with space seperators below. If you want a keyword, type the keyword or phrase!

Display Duration

This is how many seconds the tweet should show up on your website. Make sure you give the user time to first see the box and then read it. Normally this should be around 10 or above.

What Type of Query Is This?

To ensure that the system gets the right results we need to know if you're looking for tweets from users, or tweets via a keyword. If you've typed usernames above then please make sure you select usernames in the below box!

Refresh Time Delay

Although it does not use much bandwidth, each time the server refreshes to see new tweets it will take up some of the users bandwidth, if you're site is very light weight it would be best to have this higher

Right Margin (Pixels)

This is how many pixels away from the right hand side of the browser the tweet box should show. Good for ajusting the design if it covers something you don't want covered!

Image (URL)

You can use a custom image for the background of the latest tweet. Please read about the requirements in the FAQ section.

Box Title:

This is the title that shows when the latest tweet comes through. A good example is "I have just tweeted:"

Font Typeface:

You can use any Font Typeface. This displays in the CSS. You'll need to make sure the type face you use is valid for both Mac & PC.

Font Size

You can also change the font size. Be warned, if your tweets are too long and you are not using a custom image, the tweets may escape the boxs container and overspill.

Font Color

You can also change the font color. Be warned, light colors suit the default image the best. White is the best, but other colors can work also!

Background Color

This is the background color of the displaying box. If you change this color please make sure you use a dark color for the font, or vise versa.
